Granite sealing

We recently sealed this Absolute Black granite vanity and the grout between the floor tiles in a master bath.

Typically, most installers do not automatically apply sealer to grout or stone; this task is the responsibility of the homeowner to either apply themselves or hire someone to seal the stone or grout.  In a new house or installation, it’s important that you get the sealer on the grout before stains occur.   After the grout is stained it must be thoroughly cleaned and dry before the sealer is applied.  So, it saves time and effort to seal before staining occurs.   Also, sealer applied to granite and marble helps the stone resist grease, food and stains from cosmetics.
