Shower installation

This was a new tile installation with 6x8" field tiles set staggered joint vertically with 3x3" accent tiles set in dark vertical stripes. The homeowner had a unique home design and wanted the shower layout to be in keeping with the eccentric feel of the rest of the house.

At my suggestion we used a grout color that complimented but did not match either the field tile or the accent tile. The complimentary grout color helps anchor the darker stripes to the lighter walls.

The 12×12 tiles on the floor look like slate stone but are maintenance-free ceramic tiles.
